Agenda Additions / Deletions
City Manager Chuck Warbington stated that item #1 SUP2022-00071 and #4 RZR2022-00011 have
been requested to be moved to the September 26th meeting for further action.
Motion to approve the agenda as amended made by Council Member Thompson, Seconded by
Mayor Pro Tem Martin.
Voting Yea: Mayor Still, Mayor Pro Tem Martin, Council Member Jones, Council Member Thompson,
Council Member Taylor-Crawford
Discussion of General City Business
There is no public comment during this section of the agenda unless formally requested by the
Mayor and the Council.
1. SUP2022-00071; GA Lawrenceville Sugarloaf, LLC; 3975 Sugarloaf Parkway
This item was not heard tonight but will be placed on the September 26th meeting.
2. SUP2022-00072; Learning Time; 141 Langley Drive
Planning and Development Director Todd Hargrave stated that he may be asking for an
administrative withdrawn if he found that the applicant did have a current business
license. The public hearing will be on the September 26th meeting.
3. SUP2022-00073; David White; 725 Scenic Highway
Planning and Development Director Todd Hargrave presented this item and answered
questions from Council. The applicant was not present. The public hearing will be on the
September 26th meeting.
4. RZR2022-00011; Fairlane Capital LLC; 448 Grayson Highway
The Council agreed to table this item until October 12th meeting but understood that it
would be on the agenda on the 26th.
5. Valhall K-9 International
Interim Police Chief Myron Walker presented this item and answered questions from Council.
This item will be Consent #1.
6. Acquisition of 205 Culver Street
City Manager Chuck Warbington presented this item and answered questions from
Council. This item will be Consent #2.
7. Provision of Landscape and Maintenance Services on an Annual Contract
Assistant City Manager Barry Mock presented this item and answered questions from
Council. This item will be Consent #3.
8. View Point Co-Responder Amended Contract for Behavioral Health Services
Interim Police Chief Myron Walker presented this item and answered questions from Council.
This item will be Consent #4.
9. Approval of a lease with Impact 46 for use of the previous water building on Winer Industrial
Way
Deputy City Manager Steve North presented this item and answered questions from
Council. This item will be Consent #5.
10. Parking Requirements in Residential Areas; Article 5: Parking
Planning and Development Director Todd Hargrave presented this item and answered
questions from Council.
11. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Discussion
Community Development Director Jasmine Billings presented this item and answered
questions from Council.
12. Discussion of Electric Utility Rates
Chief Financial Officer Keith Lee and Electric Department Director Huston Gillis presented this
item and answered questions from Council. This item will be presented again on September
26th.
