HERITAGE TRAIL MEDALLION COMMITTEE MINUTES Tuesday, October 22, 2019 Council Assembly Room 5:00 PM 70 S. Clayton St, GA 30046 Call to Order Lisa Sherman called the meeting to order at 5:07 pm in the Council Chambers. PRESENT Committee Member Nancy Price Committee Member Elliott Brack Committee Member Mary Long Committee Member Gloria James Committee Member Theresa Bailey Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes 1. September 17, 2019 Regular Meeting Minutes Motion to approve the September 17, 2019 minutes made by Committee Member Long, Seconded by Committee Member Price. Voting Yea: Committee Member Price, Committee Member Brack, Committee Member Long, Committee Member James, Committee Member Bailey General Discussion 2. Review of Criteria for Selection of Nominees Lisa Sherman reminded the Committee of the criteria: possible nominees for consideration should be pioneers in the shaping of Lawrenceville whether by assisting with the City's progress, growth, development or history. The goal is to tell the story of Lawrenceville by telling the stories of the people who shaped it.  3. Discussion of Validating Information of Nominees List of potential nominees with validating information included were given to the Committee members. The validating information came from either the Committee members themselves or past nominations that had been turned into the City in years past. Committee members wanted more time to review the new information. Motion made to table agenda items 4, 5, 6, and 7 until the next meeting by Committee Member Brack, Seconded by Committee Member Price.
