HOOPER RENWICK LEGACY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE MINUTES Tuesday, April 19, 2022 Third Floor GwMA Conference Room 6:00 PM 70 S. Clayton St, GA 30046 Call to Order Committee Member Pastor Dunnigan called the meeting to order at 6:02 pm. 1. Prayer – Ms. Gwendolyn Taylor Committee Member Taylor led the Committee in an opening prayer. 2. Quorum/Roll Call – Co-Chair, Ms. Joyce Moore Committee Member Brown conducted Roll Call and quorum was confirmed. Norms – Dr. Vivian Daniel Committee Member Daniel led the Committee through the Norms. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes  4. Approval of Previous Meeting Minutes – March 15, 2022 – Chairwoman Bailey Motion to approve the minutes from the March 15, 2022 meeting made by Committee Member Maxey, Seconded by Committee Member Brown Taylor. Voting Yea: Committee Member Bailey, Committee Member Brown, Committee Member Williams, Committee Member Dunnigan, Committee Member Glenn, Committee Member Maxey, Committee Member Moore, Committee Member Brown Taylor, Committee Member Summerour-Daniel Mayor David Still gave the Committee greetings from Commissioner Marlene Fosque who arrived later in the meeting. Old Business 5. Project Status Update – Mr. Mark LeBlanc, Project Manager Project Manager Mark LeBlanc introduced the Healy Kohler team. They are responsible for the design of the exhibits in the library. 6. Project Status Report - Ms. Cammie Fulmer, IRPC Cammie Fulmer gave an update on the exhibits. She also advised that she had not received feedback on the New South oral history document from some Committee members. The final date for submitting feedback to her is May 13, 2022. 7. Comments – Mr. Chuck Warbington, City Manager Chuck Warbington gave a few comments regarding the project. 8. Artifacts – Ms. Joyce Moore, Co-Chair Co-Chair Moore gave an artifacts update. New Business 9. Healy Kohler Presentation Terence Healy and Orleana Dupree from Healy Kohler Design gave an update on the design development for the Hooper-Renwick Themed Library. They showed the Committee the new designs for the two-story building. Committee members were given the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback on the design. Mark LeBlanc asked that they submit their comments, suggestions, and recommendations in writing to Paula Foil before the next Committee meeting on May 17, 2022. Paula will compile the comments into one document and forward it to Mark LeBlanc and Cammie Fulmer. Final Adjournment 10. Closing Prayer - Pastor Ronald Dunnigan Committee Member Pastor Dunnigan led the closing prayer. Chairwoman Bailey adjourned the meeting at 8:00 pm.
