Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.

Shelter Statistics/Manager’s Report
Kim led the discussion with the following highlights:
• The live release rate for the 3rd quarter was 93.4%. 94% for year to date.
• March 13 marked the move in date for the new shelter, as well as the shut down due to Covid-
19. Adjustments to procedures have been done due to the pandemic and many animals were
placed in private homes for foster care. There are 256 animals in the shelter system.
• Volunteers have logged 6073 hours year to date. There are 409 registered foster homes.
• Efforts are being made to start a new national program called Home to Home. The program will
help citizens find new homes for their unwanted pets.
Kim announced her retirement scheduled for the end of August. Jasmine O’Keefe will be the Interim
Director.
Review Ordinances
A review was held on the current city ordinances. After discussion, a special meeting was set for August
26, 2020 to further discuss and propose changes to the ordinances.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for November 4, 2020. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
