Meeting was called to order at 6:22 p.m.

Manager’s report
• November 2022 statistics were reviewed –
Beginning Animal Count – 271 (canine-83; Feline-82; other-1; foster-105)
Intakes – 206 (canine-99; feline-103; other-4)
Average Daily Capacity – 154
Outcomes – 212 (total live outcomes 205)
Ending Animal Count – 261 (canine-94; feline-59; other-2; foster-106)
Public Comment
Tom Crews, League City Council Member, asked to amend the ordinance proposal to allow for
more than 2 animals in an apartment to match the unlimited number for homeowners. Allow the
apartment management to determine the number. The committee supported this request.
Mr. Crews also requested to modify procedures for owner surrender of animals. This request
will require further discussion and planning.
Amy Losh discussed options for housing dogs in crates in the community room for extended
times. There is concern if the procedure is humane.
Next meeting will be Monday, January 9, 2023, at 6:15 p.m.
