Meeting Minutes City of League City Planning and Zoning Commission Regular Meeting, Monday, August 19, 2024 Council Chambers, 200 W. Walker Street, League City, TX 77573 1. Call to Order and Roll Call of Members Paul Maaz, Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present: Paul Maaz, Frank Dominguez, Nathan Jung, Matthew Hyde, Scott Higginbotham, Pam Arnold Absent: Matthew Propst, Ruth Morrison City Staff: Kris Carpenter, Planning Director; Mark Linenschmidt, Planning Manager; Vince Hustead, Senior Planner; Matt Brown, Assistant City Engineer; Michelle Villarreal, City Attorney 2. Approval of August 5, 2024, minutes Mr. Maaz asked if there were any corrections. He stated hearing none, the August 5, 2024, minutes are approved. 3. Citizen Communications None. 4. New Business A. Consider and take action on a Final Plat, Moore’s Addition, Block 16, Lot 4A, PLAT-24-0015, generally located south of East Strawberry Street, north of Farm to Market Road 646 along the west side of Hill Avenue. Vince Hustead, Senior Planner, gave a presentation on behalf of the City of League City. Mr. Jung made a motion to approve the Final Plat, Moore’s Addition, Block 16, Lot 4A, PLAT-24- 0015, per staff’s recommendations. Ms. Arnold seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 6-0-0. 5. Staff Comments Mark Linenschmidt, Planning Manager, reminded the Commission members of the next meeting is on September 9th. Mr. Linenschmidt also requested for the Commission members to respond to Christopher Sims, Executive Director for Development Services, poll for a special session of the CIAC to be held on Monday, September 16th. 6. Adjournment Mr. Higginbotham made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Hyde seconded the motion.
