Planning Commission Meeting April 3, 2023 Meeting minutes Meeting began at 7:03pm Present at meeting: Planning Commissioners: Nathan Washer, Conner Lunt, and Jesse Carter. Alternate Commissioner and Council Member Rachel Goates. Meeting Recorder: Christine Carrigan Also Present: Carol Bennett Opening Business The meeting was opened with a welcome from Nathan Washer, a prayer given by Conner Lunt, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance given by Nathan Washer. Discussion Items Welcome Jesse Carter and Conner Lunt as new Planning Commissioners Jesse Carter and Conner Lunt were welcomed as new Planning Commissioners. They were sworn in with the Oath of Office. Action Items Approval of past Minutes: March 6, 2024, Regular Planning Meeting The commission considered the approval of the regular planning meeting minutes from March 6, 2024. Conner Lunt made a motion to approve the minutes from March 6, 2024, and Jesse Carter seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Reports Office Issued Permits: Fence – C. Wilcox A building permit for a fence issued to C. Wilcox was reviewed. Additional Clarifications: a discussion on the setback requirements and how a side yard that faces the street must adhere to front yard requirements within 30 feet from the corner for the clear-view triangle. Public Comments The floor was opened for public comments. No comments were made. Adjourn The meeting was adjourned. Jesse Carter made a motion to adjourn the meeting, Conner Lunt seconded the motion.
