SECOND CDBG PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES LEVAN TOWN SECOND CDBG PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC HEARING HELD AT Levan Town Hall, 20 N Main St, Levan UT., May 8, 2025, AT 6:45 P.M. The Levan Town second CDBG public hearing was held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the Levan Town Hall located at 20 N Main Street, Levan, UT, meeting commenced at 6:45 pm. Present: Mayor Bruce Rowley, Councilmembers: Chris Chipping, Belle Brough, Rachel Goates and Ray Evans. Also Present: Rebecca Dopp (Times-News), Carol Bennett, Linda Hanks, Chantal Rowley, Elaina Jenson. Town Clerk: Christine Carrigan COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor Bruce Rowley opened the second public hearing for the CDBG program and stated that this hearing was called to allow all citizens to provide input concerning the project that was awarded under the 2025 Community Development Block Grant Program. The Town has amended its capital investment plan and decided to apply for funds on behalf of the Pickleball Courts Project located in Levan Town. Mayor Rowley explained that the application was successful in the regional rating and ranking process and the Pickleball Courts Project was awarded a grant in the amount of $110,475.00 Mayor Rowley explained the project to those in attendance. Mayor Proctor then asked for any comments, questions and concerns from the audience. There were no Towns people in attendance. Mayor Rowley stated that copies of the capital investment plan are available if anyone would like a copy. There were no more comments, and the hearing was adjourned at 6:58 pm.
