Minutes Levan Town Council Work Session November 9, 2022 5:30pm Work session began at 5:30 pm Welcome: Mayor Bruce Rowley In Attendance: Mayor Bruce. Rowley Councilmembers: Ray Evans, Nick Mangelson, Amy Lowe, Shannon Thomas Town Staff in Attendance: Justin Thomas Others in Attendance: Jon and Andrea Burton. Discussion Items: Jon and Andrea Burton property. The Burtons presented questions and concerns over what the Town of Levan would require for possible improvements and development of their property. Mr. Burton brought along a new survey of his property. The town has also ordered a survey of the area in question due to complaints about fence placements. The Burton’s new survey shows the old fence to be outside of the property line and Mr. Burton said when he builds a new fence it will be back on the property line. He said he wasn’t concerned about the fences as much as setback requirements. The width and ownership of the road running along their property is in question, currently the center of the road is unknown. The Burtons do not want to deed more property to the town for the road if they would lose the acreage to have buildable lots. The Town council said they understood the Burton’s concerns and that until the survey ordered by the town was completed, they wouldn’t know what would be required for deeds or setbacks. Councilmembers agreed to discuss the matter further as more information becomes available. 1  1. Adjournment of regular meeting: Motion: Ray Evans 2nd: Amy Lowe All were in favor.
