Fire Commission Agendas &

Minutes of Fire Commission Meeting February 8, 2010 Present were Carl Peeters, Dick Schevers, Pat Nikolay, Bill Verhagen, and Scott Schommer. Bob VandenHeuvel was unable to attend. Meeting was called to order at 5:45 pm. Minutes from the November 9, 2009 meeting were reviewed and accepted as written (Dick made the motion, Bill seconded, all ayes). • It was noted that the Fire Department has received a grant for $32,000.00 to be used for equipment and training. • There are three retirees and three people have given notice recently. Bob VandenHeuvel stated via e-mail that applications for new firemen are being solicited. Interviews and selections will be made in March. The meeting was adjourned at 6:02 (moved by Scott Schommer, seconded by Dick Schevers, all ayes). The next meeting will be May 10, 2010.
