Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes February 5, 2013 Present: Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Scott Schommer Laurie Verhagen Kerry Ruhnke Excused: Chuck Rundquist Mark Van Thiel Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD Secretary Bill Van Berkel called the meeting to order at 6:002 p.m. Roll call was taken and two members of the commission were excused: Chuck Rundquist and Mark Van Thiel Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke, seconded by Scott Schommer, to approve the minutes of the November 13, 2012 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 4-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Chief’s Report Chief Misselt reported to the commission regarding the homicide case as well as the human trafficking case which occurred in the Village of Kimberly. He also discussed the newest command staff member, Lieutenant Steidl. Chief advised of the fuel purchase change for the department and the cost savings compared to going through Outagamie County. Commission President Communications None The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 6 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Combined Locks Civic Center, 405 Wallace Street, Combined Locks, Wisconsin.
