Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes November 12, 2013 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Mark Van Thiel, Vice President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Laurie Verhagen Kerry Ruhnke Scott Schommer Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD The meeting was called to order at 6:00p.m. Roll call was taken. All members of the commission were present. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Scott Schommer, seconded by Kerry Ruhnke, to approve the minutes of the August 20, 2013 meeting of the Commission. Approved by voice vote, 5-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Chief’s Report Chief Misselt reported to the commission of the vandalism done to one of the department squad cars. He also gave a budget report for the department for 2014. Chief advised of the department’s newest patrol officer, Austin Weisnicht, as well as the contract employee, Vicky Hermsen, who is helping with the backlog of report transcription. Commission President Communications None. The next police commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 18, 2014. The meeting will take place in the Rick J. Hermus Council Chambers at the Kimberly Municipal Complex, 515 W. Kimberly Avenue, in the Village of Kimberly, Wisconsin.
