Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes March 6, 2018 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Scott Schommer Bill Van Berkel Kerry Ruhnke Mark Verhagen Excused: N/A Guest: Interim Chief Scott Lund, FVMPD The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m., and roll call was taken. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke to approve the minutes from the February 27, 2018 meeting, and Scott Schommer seconded the motion. The motion carried, 4-0. Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Closed Session A motion was made by Kerry Ruhnke and seconded by Bill Van Berkel to adjourn to closed session. The motion carried, 4–0. Kerry Ruhnke made a motion to return to open session, and it was seconded by Scott Schommer. The motion carried, 4-0. Action from Closed Session The Commission interviewed three (3) candidates for the officer position, and all three (3) were acceptable. Commission President Communications None.
