ATTENDANCE: Planning & Development Director, Tim Prater; Planning Commission Chairman Janice Tribble; Planning Commissioners, Bruce Granoff, Barbara Forrester, Richard Homick. Danny Ford, Faye Lamb and Michael Lynch were absent. Administrative assistant, Nina Ramsey recorded the minutes. MINUTES APPROVED: Minutes from May 5, 2016. BUSINESS: Case #A16-006 & R16-007 – Robert Jackson Wilson filed an application to annex and rezone approximately 2 acres located at 185 Athens Highway, Map/Parcel #5159-254, Gwinnett County, Georgia. The property owner is SFI Development, LLC. The current zoning is C-2. The requested zoning is CH for a future commercial retail development. Case #R16-007 – Robert Jackson Wilson filed an application to annex and rezone approximately 2 acres located at 185 Athens Highway, Map/Parcel #5159-254, Gwinnett County, Georgia. The property owner is SFI Development, LLC. The current zoning is C-2. The requested zoning is CH for a future commercial retail development. Case #V16-009 – Robert Schnider filed an application requesting a variance for property located at 610 Doe Lane, Map/Parcel #NL06A-055, Walton County, Georgia. Relief is sought from the City of Loganville Zoning Ordinance Section 119-291(b) (4) – Accessory uses or structures. The request is to build an oversize detached garage for the storage of antique cars.
