City of Loganville Planning & Development Planning Commission Public Hearing Municipal Council Chambers 4385 Pecan Street Thursday, April 27, 2017 • 6:30 p.m. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. Invocation was given by Chairman, Janice Tribble followed by the pledge of allegiance. ATTENDANCE: Planning & Development Director, Tim Prater; Planning Commission Chairman, Janice Tribble; Planning Commissioners, Barbara Forrester, Richard Homick, Anne Coles, Faye Lamb, and Lisa Newberry. Bruce Granoff was absent. City Councilman Skip Baliles was in attendance. Administrative Assistant, Shannon Bond recorded the minutes. BUSINESS: Case #17-005 – Amend Chapter 119-297 of the City of Loganville Zoning Ordinance regarding Commercial and/or Heavy Vehicle Parking. A motion was made Faye Lamb and seconded by Barbara Forrester to amend the adgenda by removing Case #17-005. Case #R17-004 – Mahaffey Pickens Tucker, LLP filed an application requesting to rezone approximately 37.02+/- acres located on Claude Brewer Road, Map/Parcel #LG120009, Walton County, GA. The property owner is CMH Parks Inc. The current zoning is R22-CSO. The purpose of the rezone is to change the conditions of zoning. A motion was made by Barbara Forrester and seconded Ann Coles to recommend the City Council approve one row of Leland Cypress. Motion carried 5 – 0 therefore the recommendation is to approve planting one row of Leland Cypress instead of two. ADJOURN - A motion was made by Richard Homick and seconded by Faye Lamb to adjourn.
