(Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 10. 20-1240 Recommendation to receive and file annual reports on Community Facilities District No. 2007-1 - Douglas Park Commercial Area (CFD No. 2007-1); Community Facilities District No. 2007-2 - Belmont Shore (CFD No. 2007-2); Community Facilities District No. 5 - Long Beach Towne Center (CFD No. 5); Community Facilities District No. 6 - Pike Public Improvements (CFD No. 6); and, Community Facilities District No. 2011-1 Douglas Park - North of Cover Street Area (CFD No. 2011-1), to comply with the Local Agency Special Tax Bond and Accountability Act. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 12. 20-1242 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. ITB FS20-076 and award a contract to Los Angeles Truck Centers, LLC, dba Velocity Truck Center, of Whittier, CA, for furnishing and delivering two Autocar Expeditor Roll Off trucks, for a total contract amount not to exceed $578,494, inclusive of taxes and fees; and, authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into the contract, including any necessary amendments. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 13. 20-1243 Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Fire Department by $490,409, offset by a transfer of Measure A revenue from the Capital Fund Projects Fund Group in the Public Works Department, to fund a Fire Engineer Academy. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 14. 20-1244 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement with VOYA, for healthcare specific stop-loss reinsurance coverage with a $500,000 deductible level, at an estimated cost of $1,821,136 for a 12-month period effective January 1, 2021; and, execute any subsequent amendments necessary to maintain current benefit levels and remain in compliance with state and federal laws. (District 3) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 17. 20-1247 Recommendation to receive and file the application of Binny Shah, dba Prince Market and Deli, for an original application of an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) License at 6401 Cherry Avenue; and, determine the application serves the Public Convenience and Necessity; submit a Public Notice of Protest to ABC; and, direct City Manager to withdraw the protest if a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) is granted.
