APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR FEBRUARY 7, 2018 18-003HS Committee Member Wilson moved to approve the minutes as submitted, seconded by Committee Member Lie. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION: Steve Be Cotte, representing Downtown Long Beach Alliance and the Long Beach Area Coalition for the Homeless, introduced himself. Committee Member Sheila Finch joins the meeting at 3:41 pm. 4. NEW BUSINESS Welcome new Committee Member Sandy Giraldo. Faith Based Summit Update from Chaplain Jeff Levine, Long Beach Rescue Mission Shannon Parker, Homeless Services Officer, informed the committee that Chaplain Jeff was not able to present this month and that the item would be tabled to the April 2018 meeting. HSAC Annual Report Committee Member Jeffrey Johnson provided an update on the progress regarding the Homeless Services Advisory Committee Report. Mayor’s Fund Request Process Teresa Chandler, Manager, Bureau of Human Services, provided an overview on the fund transfer to the Long Beach Community Foundation.
