REGULAR AGENDA (4:50 PM) 1. 14-0199 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California Regular Meeting held Tuesday, February 11, 2014. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - DeLong, Schipske, Andrews, Johnson, Neal, Lowenthal and Garcia Absent: 3 - O'Donnell, Austin and Tanzer 2. 14-0201 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Report for December 2013. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner DeLong, seconded by Commissioner Schipske, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - DeLong, Schipske, Andrews, Johnson, Neal, Lowenthal and Garcia Absent: 3 - O'Donnell, Austin and Tanzer 3. 14-0202 Recommendation to adopt revised Standard Utility Allowance Schedules; and adopt revised Energy Efficiency-Based Utility Allowance Schedules for New Construction Projects. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner DeLong, seconded by Commissioner Schipske, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - DeLong, Schipske, Andrews, Johnson, Neal, Lowenthal and Garcia Absent: 3 - O'Donnell, Austin and Tanzer 4. 14-0203 Recommendation to authorize Executive Director, or designee, to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) advertising the availability of a Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Program that serves the Veteran homeless population and solicit participation in the program from interested property owners of affordable units; and Authorize the Executive Director, or designee, to negotiate and execute an agreement to enter into a Housing Assistance Payment contract for VASH PBV assistance in accordance with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines for qualified proposals Page 2 of 3 CITY OF LONG BEACH TUESDAY, MARCH 11, 2014 HOUSING AUTHORITY OF 333 W.
