A motion was made by Commissioner Mungo, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Austin, Richardson, Andrews and Tanzer Absent: 3 - Gonzalez, Uranga and Lowenthal Councilmember Uranga joined the meeting. 2. 15-1274 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Report for September 2015. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. (Citywide) Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, presented the staff report. A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews and Tanzer Absent: 2 - Gonzalez and Lowenthal 4. 15-1276 Recommendation to designate Alison King as the Acting Deputy Executive Director of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, effective as of December 9, 2015. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Commissioner Mungo, to approve recommendation. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES 5. 15-1277 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing the formation of a Joint Powers Authority with the City of Long Beach, and authorize Executive Director to execute the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, and related matters. (Citywide) Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, introduced David Nakamoto, City Treasurer, who presented the staff report. A motion was made by Commissioner Mungo, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. H.A. 05-15. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Richardson, Andrews and Tanzer Absent: 2 - Gonzalez and Lowenthal Enactment No: H.A. 05-15 6. 15-1278 Recommendation to request for authorization to open the Housing Authority Waiting List for American Gold Star Manor. (Citywide) Darnisa Tyler, Deputy Executive Director, presented the staff report. A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES 7. 15-1279 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing Assistant Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director to execute all required documents necessary to accept funds from the City of Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department (HCIDLA) and implement the Housing Opportunities for Persons With Aids (HOPWA) Program for FY 2015-2016.
