REGULAR AGENDA (4:47 PM) 1. 17-0791 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California Regular Meeting held Tuesday, August 8, 2017. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Uranga, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Andrews, Richardson, Tanzer and Hudson Absent: 3 - Gonzalez, Pearce and Austin 2. 17-0792 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Report for June 2017. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Mungo, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 10 - Pearce, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Andrews, Richardson, Tanzer and Hudson Absent: 1 - Gonzalez 3. 17-0793 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP HE17-050 and award a contract to Casterline Associates, P.C., of Valley Forge, PA, for comprehensive accounting services, in the amount of $224,434, authorize a 10 percent contingency in the amount of $22,444, for a total contract amount not to exceed $246,878, for a period of two years, with a one-year renewal option in the amount of $114,500. (Citywide) A motion was made by Vice Chair Andrews, seconded by Commissioner Mungo, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 10 - Pearce, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Andrews, Richardson, Tanzer and Hudson Absent: 1 - Gonzalez NEW BUSINESS (4:48 PM) There was no new business.
