ROLL CALL (4:42 PM) Commissioners Zendejas, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Present: Pearce and Richardson Commissioners Andrews and Hudson Absent: Also present: Alison King, Deputy Executive Director; Richard Anthony, Deputy City Attorney; Tamela Austin, City Clerk Specialist. REGULAR AGENDA (4:43 PM) 1. 20-0117 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California Special Meeting held Tuesday, January 14, 2020. OCEAN BOULEVARD THE CITY OF LONG BEACH, CIVIC CHAMBERS/LOUNGE, 4:30 PM CALIFORNIA MINUTES A motion was made by Chair Richardson, seconded by Commissioner Zendejas, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Zendejas, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 2 - Andrews and Hudson 2. 20-0118 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Reports for November 2019. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Vice Chair Pearce, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Zendejas, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 2 - Andrews and Hudson 3. 20-0119 Recommendation to receive and file the presentation of the 2019 Housing Authority Family Self-Sufficiency Graduates. (Citywide) Alison King, Deputy Executive Director spoke; and introduced Victoria Moon Frye, Community Program Tech. Victoria Moon Frye, Community Program Tech, spoke; and presented the staff report. Allison King, Deputy Executive Director; spoke. Chair Richardson spoke. A motion was made by Commissioner Uranga, seconded by Chair Richardson, to approve recommendation. Threatened or Anticipated Litigation - closed session conference with legal counsel relating to threatened or anticipated litigation pursuant to Paragraph (2) of subdivision (d) and paragraph (3) of subdivision (e) of Section 54956.9 of the California Government Code (one matter). At 4:50 PM, the meeting recessed for a Closed Session. At 5:15 PM, Chair Richardson reconvened the meeting. This Agenda Item was received and filed. NEW BUSINESS (5:15 PM) There was no new business.
