1. 20-0755 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of
the City of Long Beach, California Regular Meeting held Tuesday,

A motion was made by Commissioner Hudson, seconded by
Vice Chair Pearce, to approve recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Yes: 6 - Zendejas, Mungo, Austin, Hudson, Pearce and Richardson
Absent: 5 - Price, Supernaw, Andrews, Uranga and Tanzer
2. 20-0756 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial
and Operational Performance Reports for May 2020. (Citywide)
A motion was made by Vice Chair Pearce, seconded by Chair
Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried
by the following vote:
Yes: 6 - Zendejas, Andrews, Austin, Hudson, Pearce and
Richardson
Absent: 5 - Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga and Tanzer
3. 20-0757 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all
documents necessary to amend Lease No. 26422 between Abbass and
Shohreh Tousi, as individuals, and the Housing Authority of the City of
Long Beach (Housing Authority), for office space located at 521 East
4th Street, for six additional months until March 31, 2021, with an option
to further extend on a month to month basis beyond March 31, 2021.

report.
A motion was made by Commissioner Austin, seconded by
Vice Chair Pearce, to approve recommendation. The motion
carried by the following vote:

4. 20-0758 Recommendation to authorize Housing Authority of the City of Long
Beach (Housing Authority), or designee, to execute all documents
necessary to amend to Contract No. 35530 with Gillis & Panichapan
Architects, Inc., of Costa Mesa, CA, for as-needed space-planning
architectural services, furnishing and delivering of office furniture and
equipment layout, to increase the contract amount by $500,000, for a
revised amount not to exceed $1,700,000;
Adopt resolution authorizing Housing Authority, or designee, to execute
a contract with AllSteel, Inc., of Muscatine, IA, for furnishing and
delivering furniture, installation, and related services, on the same
terms and conditions afforded to Region 4 Education Service Center,
Contract No. R191802, through Omnia Partners, in an amount not to
exceed $1,100,000, for a period of one year, with the option to renew
for as long as the Omnia Partners contract is in effect, at the discretion
of the Housing Authority; and
A motion was made by Commissioner Zendejas, seconded by
Vice Chair Pearce, to approve recommendation and adopt
Resolution No. H.A. 01-20. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Yes: 6 - Zendejas, Andrews, Austin, Hudson, Pearce and
Richardson
Absent: 5 - Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Uranga and Tanzer
Enactment No: H.A. 01-20
20-0796 Adopt resolution authorizing Housing Authority, or designee, to execute
a contract with Haworth, Inc., of Holland, MI, for furniture, installation
and related products and services on the same terms and conditions
afforded to City of Charlotte, NC, Contract No. 2020000606, through
Omnia Partners, in an amount not to exceed $700,000, for a period of
one year, with the option to renew for as long as the Omnia Partners
contract is in effect, at the discretion of the Housing Authority.
