The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Zendejas, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 2 - Price and Hudson 2. 20-1214 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, California Regular Meeting held Tuesday, October 13, 2020. A motion was made by Commissioner Zendejas, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Zendejas, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 2 - Price and Hudson 3. 20-1215 Recommendation to receive and file the Housing Authority Financial and Operational Performance Reports for August 2020. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Zendejas, seconded by Vice Chair Pearce, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Zendejas, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 2 - Price and Hudson 5. 20-1217 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing the Assistant Executive Director and the Deputy Executive Director to execute all documents necessary with the Housing and Community Investment Department of Los Angeles (HCIDLA), to receive and expend funding of up to $1,250,000, to continue the Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA) Program, for the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021; and, Increase appropriations in the Housing Authority Fund Group in the Health and Human Services Department by $237,491, offset by grant revenue. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Supernaw, seconded by Commissioner Austin, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. H.A. 03-20. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Zendejas, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin, Pearce, Richardson and Tanzer Absent: 2 - Price and Hudson Enactment No: H.A. 03-20 6. 20-1218 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary for an extension of Lease No. 26572 between Craig A. MacPherson and Stuart S. MacPherson, c/o GRG Management Services, and the Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach, for 12 parking spaces located at 523 East Fourth Street, for continued occupancy by the Housing Authority. (Citywide) Councilwoman Price joined the meeting. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 10 - Zendejas, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 1 - Hudson 7. 20-1219 Recommendation to adopt resolution approving a revised Voucher Payment Standard Schedule for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program, effective January 1, 2021 for all zip code areas in Long Beach. (Citywide) A motion was made by Commissioner Zendejas, seconded by Vice Chair Pearce, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. H.A. 04-20. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 10 - Zendejas, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin, Tanzer, Pearce and Richardson Absent: 1 - Hudson Enactment No: H.A. 04-20 8. 20-1220 Recommendation to adopt Revised Standard Utility Allowance Schedules; and, Adopt Energy Efficiency-Based Utility Allowance Schedules for new construction projects. (Citywide) Dave Shukla spoke. A motion was made by Commissioner Zendejas, seconded by Chair Richardson, to approve recommendation.
