ROLL CALL Todd Leland, Superintendent, Marine Operations, took roll call and confirmed a quorum. A motion was made by Commissioner Mayes, seconded by Commissioner Daniels, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 8 - Nathaniel Brown, Camille Daniels, Colin Kelly, Theresa Marino, Tom Mayes, Jo Murray, Mark Turpin and David Thornburg Abstain: 1 - Elizabeth Lambe NEW BUSINESS 2. 20-006MA Recommendation to receive supporting documentation into the record, conclude the public hearing, consider the Appeal from Steve Huber; and deny the Appeal and uphold the Marine Bureau's decision to terminate his permit for violation of the Long Beach Marina Rules and Regulations. (District 3) Commissioner Mayes asked guest Steve Huber if he was a current member of the Boat Owners Association. Guest Steve Huber responded no. Todd Leland, Superintendent, Marine Operations reviewed the supporting documentation to terminate Steve Huber’s permit. Marine Maintenance Eric Woodson, Superintendent, Marine Maintenance reviewed the following topics: · Downtown fire suppression, twelve-week process. · Public Works is working on removing tree roots, trip hazards at DTM. · Station 31 - New door installed in Manager’s office. TIDELANDS CAPITAL PROJECTS COMMITTEE Theresa Marino - Chair Commissioner Marino reviewed updates on the following: AES, Naples Seawall, Beach Concessions, Belmont Pier, Alamitos Water Playground, and Colorado Lagoon Open Channel.
