Interim Director Scott took roll call and confirmed a quorum. ROLL CALL Interim Director Scott reported that Commissioner Stacey Morrisson has resigned from the Parks & Recreation Commission due to professional committments. She will continue to stay active in the community. Vice President Goldberg made a motion to excuse Commissioner Heggeness from the November 19, 2015 Parks & Recreation Commission meeting due to business obligations. Commissioner Sievers seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Meredith Reynolds discussed DeForest and Houghton Park and the Riverwalk. *Commissioner Zanatta asked for an update on DeForest Park. Robert Livingstone reported on tree loss at El Dorado Golf Course due to the recent high winds we experienced. Additionally he provided an update on Heartwell Park Golf Course clubhouse renovations. Hurley Owens spoke regarding El Nino preparations and documentation the City is gathering in preparation. Preparation includes photos of buildings, roofs, etc. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS: President Antonette thanked staff for all of their hard work. Commissioner Ursua thanked staff as well or taking the time to explain duties and the workings of the department. Vice President Goldberg said that Commissioner Morrison will be missed and wished her well in the future.
