PRESENTATIONS
Employee of the Month - July 2018
Yeselin is the assistant in the Field and Beach permits office. Although already busy in her
current position, Yeselin stepped up to assist with the coordination of the Council Summer
Concert Series.
In addition to those 2 time consuming responsibilities during the summer she has also been
asked to assist in the Contract Class office. As a part time staff her hours are limited, so
working with 3 different programs requires a lot of dedication and flexibility. She not only has
agreed to take on all of the responsibilities, but she taken them on successfully.
This year she was also tasked with planning All City Beach Day for over 2000 youth.

Employee of the Month - August 2018
Lindsay began her role as Day Camp Director at Veterans Park this past Spring and was
tasked with rebuilding the Day Camp program. She showed up to Vets with a huge smile and

a “can do” attitude. With great excitement and ownership, she quickly began working on
organizing and designing the Day Camp room. She worked long hours to paint beautiful signs
with vibrant colors and imagery to set the tone. She knew she had to make the program
space bright and inviting and that’s exactly what she did.
Lindsay then began marketing the camp. Little by little pre-summer enrollment began to grow;
not only had Lindsay grown the program, the kids that were coming to camp were returning,
week after week. It was obvious, the kids LOVED her!
There were many times over the summer where outdoor challenges presented themselves
and made Lindsay’s job tougher. Even so Lindsay maintained a positive and cheerful
disposition, and expected that of her team. She has shown her team that even amongst
challenges, we can shine!
Michelle Wilson spoke.
Ashleigh Griset spoke.
