CITY OF LONOKE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES MARCH 1, 2019 The Lonoke City Council held a special city council meeting in the administration room of City Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2019. Mayor Trae Reed called the meeting to order with the invocation given by Efrem Jones. Mayor Reed asked City Clerk, Jeribeth Edwards to call the roll. City Clerk Jeribeth Edwards called the roll and declared a quorum. Mayor Trae Reed City Clerk Jeribeth Edwards Treasurer Phillip Howell (absent) Deputy Clerk Regina Ibbotson (absent) Council Members Efrem Jones, Matt Cordell, Raymond Hatton (absent), Alice Bridges, Suzette Elmore (absent), Michael Florence, Koy Butler, and Ryan Biles City Attorney Ginger Stuart (absent) Police Chief Randy Mauk (absent) W/S/S Supt. Jim Kelley /Jim Ed Ransom (absent) C.C. Director Mike Brown (absent) Fire Dept. Justin Wittenberg (absent) Parks Director Roy Don Lewis News Media Jeffery Smith, The Leader (absent) Visitors none A. CHANGE ORDER FOR REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION WALKING TRAIL EXTENSION: Mayor Reed mentioned that the council needs to give permission to have Redstone construction to move forward with the walking trail. Roy Don Lewis was present and explained that Redstone will add fine grading and compaction to the existing limestone base put in place by the city. The changes in the contract will be lump sum grading and compacting limestone base. The cost is $4,900.00. Michael Florence made a motion to accept the change order. Efrem Jones seconded the motion. Motion carried. ADJOURN: Koy Butler made a motion to adjourn. Matt Cordell seconded the motion.
