CITY OF LONOKE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES August 19, 2019 The Lonoke City Council held a special city council meeting in the administration room of City Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Monday August 19, 2019. Mayor Trae Reed called the meeting to order with the invocation given by Efrem Jones. Mayor Reed asked City Clerk, Jeribeth Edwards to call the roll. City Clerk Jeribeth Edwards called the roll and declared a quorum. Approval of Additional Funds to Purchase New Police Car: Chief Randy Mauk was present and explained Regina called to order the car that was approved on August 12, 2019. The dealer informed the city that the Dodge Charger RWD is no longer available to order. Dodge is making changes to that model and none will be available to order until 2020. The dealer has one gray RWD car on the lot with an additional option for $375.00 more than previously approved. Raymond Hatton made a motion to spend the $375.00 extra and proceed with the car purchase. Suzette Elmore seconded. The motion carried. ADJOURN: Koy Butler made a motion to adjourn.
