CITY OF LONOKE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES August 13, 2020 The Lonoke City Council held a special city council meeting through internet livestream video via zoom application on August 13, 2020. Mayor Trae Reed called the meeting to order with the invocation given by Efrem Jones. Mayor Reed asked City Clerk, Jeribeth Edwards to call the roll. City Clerk Jeribeth Edwards called the roll and declared a quorum. Jim Kelley C.C. Director Mike Brown (absent) Fire Dept. Justin Wittenberg Parks Director Roy Don Lewis (absent) News Media Rick Kron, The Leader (absent) Visitors Stubby Stumbaugh, Clay Phillips, Noel Phillips, Wayne Rathbun A. Resolution 8-1-2020: “Ark Dept of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism FYE 2021 Grant”- Tabled B. Quote for Fire Dept Turn Outs- Justin Whittenburg was present and had a quote from Emergency Vehicle Specialists for turn outs. This is for four turn outs and 10 helmets. The total for the items needed is $17,421.62. Matt Cordell made a motion to purchase the fire equipment. Koy Butler seconded the motion. Motion carried.
