Motion was made by Ryan Rourke to approve both requests for no fee. Motion was seconded by Tom Caunter. Approved Unanimously. Item 4 – Hetal Petal – Requesting Fee Waiver In January, Hetal received a permit for 35 dates at Hovey Field to play cricket. The permit fee was $50 per day, totaling to $1,750 ($1,700 after using their $50 credit from last season). Due to weather, they did not use the field and are requesting a fee waiver for the following dates: Sunday, June 04 Sunday, June 11 Saturday, June 17 Sunday, June 18 Sunday, July 02 Page | 3 Sunday, July 16 Saturday, Sept 9 Sunday, Sept 10 8 unused dates X $50 per date = $400 If the Board approves the fee waiver, they will still have a balance of $1,300 that needs to be paid for, for the nine dates they used the field for ($400) and the 18 dates they didn’t use the field due to schedule changes ($900). Motion was made by Tom Caunter to approve issuing account credit for $400. Motion was seconded by Kah Ndi. Approved Unanimously. Item 5 – Board of Parks meeting dates FY2024 • Motion to have January – October 2024 meetings. • Motion to cancel November 27, 2024 and December 25, 2024 meetings. Motion was made by Ryan Rourke to approve the meeting dates FY2024. Motion was seconded by Tom Caunter. Approved Unanimously. Item 6 – BOP special meeting to review the policy book: Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 6pm. Motion was made by Ryan Rourke to approve the meeting. Motion was seconded by Tom Caunter.
