Rourke Item 1 – FOR DISCUSSION/APPROVAL: Board of Parks Policy Handbook The Board began reviewing the handbook page by page to make any amendments necessary. K. Rudy brought forward the following proposals to be added to the Board’s policies and procedures: timely financial reports be given to the Board, the review and approval of the previous meeting’s minutes at the next following meeting, updates to the current cancellation policies, and include MGL c. 45 in the policies. The Board reviewed both the current and newly proposed permit fee structures. Motion by K. Rudy to approve the new fee structure pending amendments, seconded by T. Caunter. Once the handbook review was complete, the Board noted next steps would be to reconvene with the Parks Subcommittee and the City Solicitor for their review and approval.
