Tourism Commission Meeting December 5, 2023 Luck Village Hall 401 S. Main St. 6pm MINUTES 1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Roll Call: Jennifer Anderson-here, Sonja Jensen-here, Bill Anderson-absent, Stephanie Lundeen-here, Sadia Mohammod-absent, Allyssa Bader-here 2. APPROVE AGENDA: Motion by Lundeen/Jensen to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. 3. APPEARANCE BY VISITORS: Zach Mattson appeared with suggestions about “beautifying” the south side of the coop. 4. APPROVE MEETING MINUTES FROM SEPTEMBER 25, 2023: Motion by Bader/Jensen to approve the minutes from September 25, 2023 meeting, all in favor- aye, carried. 5. OPEN DISCUSSION: Possibly changing the location of the Information Center Location to the Village Hall. 6. HWY 35 SIGN: Luck Golf Course is looking at a new sign. 7. LUCK MURAL: Places/James Springsteen- Talking with the Luck Art Teacher about creating a Mural for Luck. 8. WINTER CARNIVAL- Luck Golf Course Idea- Sunday of Winter Carnival having events at the Golf Course. 9. ADJOURN MEETING: Motion by Jensen/Lundeen to adjourn, all in favor- aye, carried.
