LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING AMENDED DAY/TIME DUE TO WEATHER Wednesday March 27, 2024 – 11:00am Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 MINUTES a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Kevin Clunis, Marcus Wilhelm, Bruce Anderson, Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson- present Mike McMahon-absent b. Motion by Steen/Jeff Anderson to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by Jeff Anderson/Steen to approve Minutes from 1/3/2024 and special meeting on 2/26/2024, Bruce Anderson abstains (wasn’t present at these meetings), all others in favor- aye, carried. d. Did not approve Vouchers- will do next meeting e. Appearance by Visitors- Lori Stevens- update on Country Club- needs internet booster, no happy hour for mixed drinks after the course opens, website link, new counter top and window. First day open will be the Kentucky Derby- Saturday, May 4. f. Commissioners Open Discussion- 11 tee box, opening date still TBD g. Financial Update- $15,000 Checking- $15,000 Donations- $380,000 memberships h. Update on the 3 Year Anniversary Memberships- sold 1704- cap it at 2000 i. Motion by Steen/Jeff Anderson to table to Country Club Contract until next meeting, all in favor- aye, carried. j. Motion by Broten/Steen to approve labor from LT Construction for $39,050.00 to reside the whole building with LP Smart Siding with the colors of Sand Dune and Timberland Suede. Golf Course will purchase the material, all in favor (Jeff Anderson abstains)- aye, carried. k. Motion by Steen/Broten to approve getting bids from Engstrom Siding to finish off the gutter installation on the Golf Course building, all in favor (Jeff Anderson abstains)- aye, carried. l. Motion by Broten/Steen to approve charging 3% on every credit card transaction, all in favor (Bruce Anderson abstains)- aye, carried. m. Motion by Steen/Jeff Anderson to increase Brat, Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Hot Dogs by $.50, all in favor- aye, carried. n. Motion by Steen/Jeff Anderson to table the cart barn conversation until a later date, all in favor- aye, carried. o. Motion by Bruce Andeson/Jeff Andeson to approve getting the parking lot lines painted, all in favor- aye, carried. p. Motion by Broten/Steen to approve the wage increase for all employees by $.50 per hour, all in favor- aye, carried. q. Clubhouse Manager Report- Unity golf team will be staining the decks, demo days went great! r. Golf Course Maintenance Update- Tim will get his pesticide testing done, logging by Paul H, clean up days, #5 cut down hill, #8 alternative fairway, #14 irrigation, #7 pond s.
