ROLL CALL: Mike Broten, Sonja Jensen, Ron Steen- all here III. AGENDA: Motion by Steen/Broten to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried IV. MINUTES: Motion by Broten/Steen to approve the minutes from March 13, 2024, all in favor- aye, carried. V. CHECKS/VOUCHERS: Motion by Jensen/Broten to approve the checks and vouchers for March 2024, all in favor- aye, carried. VI. THE FINANCE AND PERSONNEL WILL ENTER INTO A CLOSED SESSION UNDER STATE STATUTE 19.85 (1) (C) considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any represented or non-represented public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility-Employment – Hire Chief of Police VII. THE FINANCE AND PERSONNEL WILL RETURN TO AN OPEN SESSION MOTION TO ENTER OPEN SESSION- Motion by Jensen/Broten Roll Call: Mike Broten, Sonja Jensen, Ron Steen- all here IX: ACTION FROM CLOSED SESSION: Motion by Jensen/Steen to approve hiring Nick Nelson as Village of Luck Chief of Police effective date 4/10/2024 at an hourly wage rate of $33.23 with a 4% increase to $34.55 and recommend to the Village Board.  X: ADJOURN: Motion by Broten/Steen, meeting adjourned.
