LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING Wednesday, April 24, 2024 – 8:00am Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 MINUTES a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Bruce Anderson, Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson- all here Mike McMahon- absent b. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to table approving the Minutes from 4/23/2024 Special meeting because they were not ready, all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- Chuck Torrance, Roger Swanson, Lori Stevens from Country Club- Kentucky Derby Party May 4th- Open for the season May 8th (Wednesday- Saturday) from 4pm-9pm Thru August 31st 2024. Golf Course will pay the Northland Fire and Safety bill for $1,400.00 e. Commissioners open Discussion- Ron Steen to get a few people for clean up on the Golf Course f. Clubhouse Manager Update- simulator- 70 rounds in the winter- $3,891.41 1800 memberships g. Golf Course Maintenance Update- Fahrner to paint lines- $1,300.00 -seeding hole 5 -hydro seeding -stump removal h. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to table the approval of the Country Club Contract and Liquor Agreement until changes are made and put it on the next agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. i. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve Vouchers from December 2023, January, February and March 2024, all in favor- aye, carried. j. Next Meeting Date- Ride through the Golf Course on Wednesday, May 15th @ 8am, meeting to immediately following the ride through k. Adjournment- Motion by Steen/J. Anderson, meeting adjourned.
