LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING Wednesday, May 15, 2024 Tour of the Course @ 8:00am and meeting to immediately follow Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 MINUTES a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Bruce Anderson, Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson- all here Mike McMahon- absent b. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by J. Anderson/Steen to approve Minutes from 4/24/2024, all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- Lori Stevens from Country Club- first week went well- 30-day notice if golf course needs to use their kitchen e. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the 2024 Country Club Contract and Liquor Agreement and recommend to the Village Board, all in favor- B. Anderson abstains- aye, carried. f. Commissioners Open Discussion- -wait until September to do construction, #11 tee box, greens are getting smaller, easy pin placement on weekends, list of priorities, cart barn, starter on weekends, cart signs, club cleaners out, water fountain, siding after July 4th g. Motion by B. Anderson/Steen to approve Campground bid Electricity for $10,000 and ask the Village Board to split the cost and recommend to the Finance Board, all in favor- aye, carried h. Motion by B. Anderson/Steen to approve the bid from Engstrom’s ABC Seamless for $2,635.00 for gutters and installation, all in favor- J. Anderson abstains- aye, carried.  i. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the following individual’s membership rights: Bob McCann-lifetime member and Country Club buys his cart, Roger Swanson- he needs to pay for his cart, Lori Stevens- bought 3-year membership and does not need to pay for cart, and Wayne Splittstoesser- needs to pay full price, all in favor- aye, carried. j. Financial Update- April 30, 2024 checking $36,254.15 3-year membership- $360,908.86 donations- $12,598.61 k. Clubhouse Manager Report- 1883 memberships sold, 117 left to sell, Big Cup Sunday, Wings full, up $37,000 from last year-not including 3-year memberships l. Golf Course Maintenance Update- cart barn sites, campground bids, #7 pond treated, drainage on #6 and #14 m. Motion by B. Anderson/Steen to approve the vouchers, all in favor- aye, carried. n.
