LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING Tour of the 6 potential cart building sites @ 5:30pm Tuesday, June 4, 2024 @ 6:00pm Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 MINUTES a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Bruce Anderson, Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson and Mike McMahon- all here b. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by B. Andeson/Steen to approve Minutes from 5/15/2024- with the change of Wayne Splittstoesser getting $250.00 off his cart for this year (2024), all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- Lori Stevens with the Country Club- food is going well, liquor slow e. Commissioners Open Discussion- Sectionals went well, leaf shield on gutters? Thick roughs f. Motion by B. Anderson/McMahon to approve the donation from Chuck Torrance of $31,502.00 for Hartman to improve drainage on Hole #6 and a donation of $19,957.00 for Hartman to improve drainage on Hole #14. Chuck Torrance will pay $31,502.00 in 2024 and $19,957.00 in 2025 with the Golf Course covering the 2025 expense until Chuck Torrance re-imburses the Golf Course in 2025 for the $19,957.00, all in favor- aye, carried. g. Motion by J. Anderson/McMahon to approve the 2024 Country Club Contract and Liquor Agreement and recommend to the Village Board, all in favor- aye, carried. h. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to table the action on Cart Building Sites and add it to the Agenda for June, all in favor- aye, carried. i. Financial Update- as of 5/31/2024 checking account $99,547.95 as of 6/4/2024 $47,000.00 3 Year membership/savings- $325,838.45 Donations $12,598.61 j. Clubhouse Manager Report- sectionals went well, WINGS on 6/10, Men’s Invitational on 7/15 k. Golf Course Maintenance Update- putting green going well, pro lawn, #5 looks good, lines will be painted next week, mobility cart l. Motion by B. Anderson/Steen to approve the vouchers, all in favor- aye, carried. m. Set Next Meeting Date- Tuesday, July 9th @ 5pm n. Adjournment- Broten/J.
