LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING Tuesday, July 9, 2024 @ 5:00pm Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 MINUTES a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Bruce Anderson, Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson- all here Mike McMahon- absent b. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve Minutes from 6/4/2024 with spelling correction, all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- Chuck McBrayer- pace of play/ranger Lori Stevens and Chuck Torrance from Butternut Bar & Grill- going very well e. Commissioners Open Discussion- Steen- less members and raise the price next time- course looks good B. Anderson- set long term priorities J. Anderson- Hydro seeder f. Motion by J. Anderson/B. Anderson to approve the Timber Sale of a minimum of $8,500.00 and recommend to the Finance Board, all in favor- aye, carried. g. Motion by Steen/B. Anderson to table this until we get pricing for a different location to build the Cart Barn, all in favor- aye, carried. h. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to place parallel parking signs at the Golf Course’s newly stripped parallel parking spots, all in favor- aye, carried. i. Financial Update- June 30, 2024- $120,000.00 savings $12,598.00 donations $346,000 checking ECI account will pay for the siding  j. Clubhouse Manager Report- concert Friday- done selling memberships- sold 2,035 Monday- Men’s Invitational need an additional refrigerator k. Golf Course Maintenance Update- practice putting green almost ready- received grant for $2,500 for drainage on #6 & #14 fairways- #9 green needs drainage- Hans will cut down trees on #11 for $1,000.00- Marcus to come up with policies and procedures regarding confrontation, tee time policy, start times, and for golfers- Kevin will be retiring at the end of the year l. Motion by J. Anderson/B. Anderson to approve the June vouchers, all in favor- aye, carried. m. Set Next Meeting Date- Tuesday, August 6th @ 5pm n. Adjournment- motion by Steen/J.
