LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, February 5, 2025 @ 5:00pm Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Bruce Anderson, Ron Steen, Jeff Anderson- all here Mike McMahon- absent b. Motion by B. Anderson/Steen to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by Steen/B. Anderson to approve Minutes from 1/6/2025, all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- Lori Stevens- point of sale system, Kentucky Derby Party e. Commissioners Open Discussion- Broten- photo cell on outside lights, insulation B. Anderson- move $110,000.00 into a 5-month CD with Frandsen Bank and Trust with a 4.2% interest rate. Steen- pro shop remodel- Give $2,000.00 to Ron Erickson for the time/material for the pro shop remodeling and give Lori Pardun a golf membership for 2025-2026 f. Discussion only on cart barn- no action taken g. Discussion only on the campground- no action taken h. Motion by B. Anderson/Steen to approve the hire date of 1-23-2025 and pay effective date of 12-14-2024 for General Manager/Golf Director, all in favor- aye, carried. i. Discussion and possible action to approve the hire date of 1-23-2025 and pay effective date of 12-14-2024 for Golf Course Superintendent, all in favor- aye, carried. j. Discussion only on wage increases- no action taken k. Financial Update- as 1/31/2025- Cash $89,154.42 Donations $423.75 3 Year Membership $315,906.72 l. Clubhouse Manager Report- attended Golf Show, look at different pizza vendor, deli sandwiches m. Golf Course Maintenance Update- pump on 2 out ($21,000.00 +), hydro seeder and spreader received, ball washer painted n. Motion by Steen/J. Anderson to approve the vouchers for January 2025, all in favor- aye, carried. o. Set Next Meeting Date- Tuesday, March 11 @ 5pm p. Adjournment- Steen/Broten- meeting adjourned
