LUCK GOLF COURSE COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, September 3, 2025 @ 3:00pm Luck Golf Course 1520 So. Shore Dr. Luck, WI 54853 a. Call to Order- Mike Broten, Ron Steen, and Mike McMahon- all here Bruce Anderson- via phone Stephanie Mueller- absent b. Motion by Broten/McMahon to approve the agenda, all in favor- aye, carried. c. Motion by McMahon/Steen to approve Minutes from 8/4/2025, all in favor- aye, carried. d. Appearance by Visitors- Chuck Torrance- Butternut Grill- last day September 12- Rex Cactus on the Patio September 12 Glen Owen- need a Cart Trainer next year e. Commissioners Open Discussion- NA f. Motion by Broten/McMahon to accept and approve the Donation from Chuck and Pamm Torrance in the amount of $37,652.27 (Hole 6 & 14 work and cart paths) and recommend to the Village Board, all in favor- aye, carried. g. Motion by Steen/McMahon to table the Cart Barn Bids until we get plans and possibly state approved plans, all in favor- aye, carried. h. Motion by Anderson/Broten to approve the 2026-2030 Golf Cart Lease with Club Car in the amount of $52,197.12 per year for 68 golf carts ($8,699.52/6 months) (color- black top/cashmere), all in favor- aye, carried. i. Motion by Steen/McMahon to deny a walking path from Wes Petersen’s house to his dock until further communication, all in favor- aye, carried. j. Discussion on the water and electrical installation at the Campground- Plow it in ourselves later this month k. Motion by Steen/McMahon to approve spending $500.00 in advertising through Luck School Events, all in favor- aye, carried. l. Discussion only and no action taken on the new tee box for hole 11 tee. m. Motion by Steen/McMahon to approve the pay increase for Greg Bowman to $16.50 per hour effective 8/23/2025, all in favor- aye, carried. n. Discussion on the 2026 Budget- no action taken o. Financial Update- As of August 31, 2025: Cash $215,476.77 Donation $38,076.04 3 Year Membership (Savings) $118,359.25 CD $111,876.03 p. Clubhouse Manager Report- Big Cup Oct 4, Course closes October 31 q. Golf Course Maintenance Update- Chemical vendor r. Motion by Broten/Steen to approve the vouchers for August 2025, all in favor- aye, carried. s. Set Next Meeting Date- Monday, October 6th at 3:00pm t.
