City Council Meeting
Monday, July 8, 2019
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were; Mike
Grote, Andy Gappa, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling.
A Motion was made by Cody Eager and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve the
Consent Items. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Larry
Schickling, Dave Whitney and Andy Gappa, motion was approved.
Citizens Communication was discussed to inform the Citizens of all the activities going
on during the week of July 8th – July 14th, 2019.
With no further business before the Council, A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and
seconded by Cody Eager to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor of said motion, Mike
Grote, Andy Gappa, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney and Larry Schickling. Voting against
none, motion carried.

Fireworks at 10:00p.m.
Madelia 5K Run Saturday morning. Registration starts at 6:45a.m.
Bands, Food and shopping vendors in the park Saturday
Madelia’s Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast – (St. Mary’s School) Sunday Morning
7:30am-11:00am
Men’s 3 Man Best Shot Golf Tournament Sunday Registration starts at 7:30a.m.
Compost Site will be closed this Saturday – July 13,2019
