City Council Meeting Monday, July 13, 2020 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote via phone conference. Those in attendance were; Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Andy Gappa, Larry Schickling and Dave Whitney. Roll call being taken: Mike Grote David Whitney Cody Eager Andy Gappa Larry Schickling Chris Fischer Chris Paul Chief Prescher Heather Thomas – Times Messager A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Dave Whitney to approve the Consent Items with an additional item to the agenda. Voting in favor of said motion by roll call; Mike Grote-Yes, Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Dave Whitney-Yes, Larry Schickling-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Cody Eager to approve Lost Sanity’s entertainment request to host musicians on Friday and Saturday night from July 14, 2020 to September 14, 2020 at the location of 21 Center Avenue South. Voting in favor of said motion by roll call; Mike Grote-Yes, Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Dave Whitney-Yes, Larry Schickling-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Cody Eager to award bid for 2020 Street and Utility Improvements to WW Blacktopping for $470,947.35. Voting in favor of said motion by roll call; Mike Grote-Yes, Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Dave Whitney-Yes, Larry Schickling-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve Ordinance 114 Food Trucks & Mobile Food Vendors first reading. Voting in favor of said motion by roll call; Mike Grote-Yes, Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Dave Whitney-Yes, Larry Schickling-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Larry Schickling and seconded by Cody Eager to approve Resolution 2020-12 – A resolution accepting bid for the 2020 Street & Utility Improvements. Voting in favor of said motion by roll call; Mike Grote-Yes, Cody Eager- Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Dave Whitney-Yes, Larry Schickling-Yes. Motion was approved. With no further business before the Council, A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Larry Schickling to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor of said motion by roll call; Mike Grote-Yes, Cody Eager-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Larry Schickling-Yes and Dave Whitney-Yes. Motion was approved.
