City Council Meeting Monday, February 28, 2022 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Dave Whitney, Andy Gappa and Glen Christensen. Others presented were Chris Fischer, Chief Prescher, Heather Utz and Michelle VanHee. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve the Consent Items with two additions: 1. Resolution 2022-05 – Adjusting Rates and Fees 2. The proposed rates are Refuse Fee at $5.35 (an increase of $1.00) and Tipping Fee at $5.18 (an increase of $1.28). Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes, Glen Christensen-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve assigning an address to Parcel: 17.601.0075. The new address is 105 Cox Ave NW. The property is owned by Mike Grote. Voting in favor of said motion; Dave Whitney- Yes, Glen Christensen-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. Mike Grote abstained. A Motion was made by Glen Christensen and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve an alternate Park Days Parade route due to the Hwy 15/60 road construction. Karla Angus is currently working with MnDOT with the changes. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Glen Christensen-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes.
