City Council Meeting Monday, September 12, 2022 7:00p.m. Fire Hall Basement The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Andrew Gappa and Glen Christensen. David Whitney was absent. Others presented were Chris Fischer, Chief Prescher, Heather Utz, Jim Pettersen, Mark Slater and Michelle VanHee. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve the Consent Items with the following additional items to the agenda: 6. Discuss and take appropriate action on 2023 Pool Management Contract with the Lake Crystal Rec Center. 7. Discuss and take appropriate action on advertising RFP for Greens Keeper at the Madelia Golf Course for the 2023 Season. A Motion was made by Cody Eager and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve wage increase for Liquor Store and Clubhouse new employees and current employees. Starting wage is $13.00 an hour with a $1.00 more an hour for Friday, Saturday and Sunday hours. Current employees will be increased to $15.00 with a $1.00 more an hour for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve the Pay Request #11 to PHLAG Holdings LLC in the amount of $223,338.00 for the Government Center.
