City Council Meeting Monday, September 26, 2022 7:00p.m. Fire Hall Basement The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve setting Public Workshop Budget and Levy Session for Monday, December 12, 2022 at 6:00p.m. This meeting is being set to be held in the New Government Center Council Chambers. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, David Whitney - Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve setting Truth and Taxation Public Hearing for Monday, December 12, 2022 at 6:00p.m. This meeting is being set to be held in the New Government Center Council Chambers. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, David Whitney - Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve agreement with Northland to start a TIF for old City Hall/ Fire Station/Police Station property with Pietsch Companies. The TIF will be for utilities and demo/clearance of redevelopment. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Cody Eager to approve allowing Dan Hawkes host music on Alliance Bank property for the month of October 2022.
