City Council Meeting Monday, October 24, 2022 7:00p.m. Fire Hall Basement The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mike Grote. Those in attendance were Mike Grote, Cody Eager, Andrew Gappa, Dave Whitney and Glen Christensen. Others presented were Chris Fischer, Chief Prescher, Heather Utz, Jim Pettersen, Mark Slater, Phyllis Schickling and Kathy Guyer. A Motion was made by Glen Christensen and seconded by Dave Whitney to approve Road Closure of Main Street on October 28th from 4:30-6:00p.m. for Spooktacular. This closure will be added to the master list of closures at the beginning of the year. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Andy Gappa and seconded by Glen Christensen to approve assigning 17.577.0140 the street address of 104 Gage Ave SE and 17.577.0150 the street address of 106 Gage Ave SE. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Glen Christensen and seconded by Andy Gappa to approve 2023-2025 Union Contract based on the Personnel Committee. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. A Motion was made by Dave Whitney and seconded by Andy Gappa to table the Insurance Agent RFP until November 14th, 2022. Voting in favor of said motion; Mike Grote-Yes, Andy Gappa-Yes, Glen Christensen- Yes, Dave Whitney-Yes and Cody Eager-Yes. Motion was approved. With no further business before the Council, A Motion was made by Cody Eager and seconded by Andy Gappa to adjourn the meeting.
