Brown – Absent CITY OFFICIALS COURT REPORTER City Attorney Patrick Gunn Lauren Goodman City Administrator Andy Hixson Planning and Zoning Director Erika Kennett ATTENDEES Ryan Wagner Terrance Rehme CASE #15-V-008 CALL to ORDER Chairman Goddard called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and asked City Administrator Hixson to call the roll. The record of attendance is shown above. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion to approve the September 10, 2015 minutes as submitted was made by Member Miller and seconded by Member Niessenbaum. There was one correction, changing predigest to prejudice. A voice vote was taken, with no opposition. The minutes were approved, with the changes from Member Mayer. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS. City Administrator Hixson gave the details of the variance case. A permit was submitted by Mr. Wagner serving as the contract for Mr. York. Mr. Wagner testified that he agreed with the statements made by City Administrator Hixson. City Administrator Hixson verified the adjacent property owners were notified about the variance request. He noted that the Department received only one comment (Mr. Reheme), neither in support of or in opposition to the variance case, just property owner behind Mr. York simply had more questions about the project. Testimony #1 1 With all the questions satisfactorily answered, Member Miller and seconded by Member Niessenbaum to deny the variance. The resulting vote was 5-0 denying of granting the variance. ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned with a motion by Member Mayer motioned and seconded by Member Moeckel at 7:35 p.m. 2
