MANISTEE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES OF MAY 5,2010 The Manistee City Council met in a work session on Wednesday,May 5,2010 following the regular meeting at 7:00 p. Council Chambers, City Hall. m., MEMBERS PRESENT: Ilona Haydon, Colleen Kenny, Hank Yonkman, Alan Marshall MEMBERS ABSENT: Richard Mack, Bob Hornkohl, Second District Council Seat OTHERS PRESENT Department Directors, Public and Media Discussion on 2010-2011 Fiscal Year Budget and 2011- 2015 Capital Improvement Plan. Significant discussion on City Manager's budget recommendation regarding contracting out assessing department. Council direction to staff was to maintain one employee in the assessor's office for the upcoming fiscal year rather than contracting out. Contracting out assessing department may be required in future years. Council also discussed Capital Improvement Fund recommendations and agreed to leave recommendations as previously discussed by Council. Adjourned at 8:50 p. m.
