MANISTEE CITY COUNCIL BUDGET WORK SESSION MINUTES OF APRIL 19, 2011 The Manistee City Council met in a budget work session following the regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 9: 00 p. m., Council Chambers, City Hall, 70 Maple Street, Manistee MI 49660. MEMBERS PRESENT Richard Mack, Catherine Zaring, Ed Cote, Bob Hornkohl, Alan Marshall, Colleen Kenny MEMBERS ABSENT: Ilona Haydon OTHERS PRESENT: Department Directors, Public and Media Discussion on 2011- 2012 Budget Document. Staff made opening comments and answered previous questions posed by City Council at the April 12, 2011 work session. Council had extensive discussion on $ 10, 000 contribution being made to the Downtown Development Authority. Decided to keep contribution in the DPW maintenance line item. City will work with the DDA to establish priorities for future maintenance projects. Still waiting for appropriation budgets that need to be reviewed.
