Grantmoneywasalsoreceivedfornewplayground equipmentatDouglasPark (RocketPark). CityManagerindicatedhewillformacommitteeconsisting ofhimself,JackGarber,GaryNiesenandmember(s)ofParks & BeautificationCommissionforinput. Commissiondiscussedtheneedtofocusonthetoddleragegroupwithequipmentthatwouldappealto agesfiveandunder. Teglerwillcontactmemberswithdateofmeetingassoonashehasconfirmation fromtheCityManager.
